A little bit about News By Nature: This site is dedicated to opening up the Ivory Tower. We want to make science easy to understand. We don't always succeed. But, we try to present all sides of often contentious issues. Sometimes we favor one side or another. Sometimes we change our minds. Above all else, the site wants folks to think more about the world around them. Here, it's all about the science. If you want politics, you need to visit Granite Slate. If you want great pictures you have to visit Lighthorse. If you want to take a moment and think about the world around you, open some of the pages at left. We're not huge Simpsons fans over at NBN, but our webmaster is about as qualified at computer programming as Homer here is at road repairs so we thought this an appropriate cartoon. That said News by Nature hopes to rejoin you after New Years with a whole new webpage layout and content. We'll be linking to a lot more stories from around the web. Hopefully, more college news and most important, a comments section so we can determine if the traffic is really all just from webcrawlers or if someone is actually reading this stuff. Meanwhile all the old stuff is still there. Poke around at your leisure. Don't be too surprised if sometime during this week, 12.27.09-12.31.09 you find the website blank or some other equally uninformative offering. Lets all hope the coming decade is a brighter one.
